Pony Club
Equus
Pony Club has been running as long as the Riding School. It still remains
a massive hit with both the kids and adults alike. Running on a Monday evening
between 5.00pm and 7.00pm, you can see them all, come rain, wind or shine
going about their tasks and just generally having a great time.
Usually run in two groups, one group doing some theory and practical aspects of pony care, whilst the other group has either has a structured lesson, little hack or just having fun and getting to know your pony. The club covers many areas of caring for a pony or horse, with topics being delivered at levels to suit.
We run a stages type system, where the children achieve credits (badges) in various topics. Stages include topics such as, grooming, horse health, parts of the horse, Equipment knowledge and care, paddock maintenance etc.
We are now looking to run Pony Club on a second night due to recent increase in demand and will keep people updated through the website, please feel free to send any queries to lisa@equus-moray.com During school holidays Equus runs pony days and half pony days.
